The guidelines for name changes, baggage, cancellations, and refunds are determined based on the type of fare, the route you are flying, the ticket issuing agency, and the operating air carrier. You should consult the airline or travel agency who issued your ticket in regard to changes to your reservations.

Alaska Airlines Name change or correction

If you identify any typographical errors or a misprint on the ticket, contact the ticketing agent and correct them in accordance with the terms of your ticket. Minor corrections may be possible, although a fee will likely apply. Usually, tickets are non-transferable, and you may not substitute the named passenger with someone else.

Alaska Airlines Baggage allowance

Baggage allowances, both carry-on and checked bag, weight limits, and baggage fees vary by type of ticket and by the airline operating the flight. Be sure to check your booking to understand the requirements of each leg of your journey. When more than one airline is involved, be sure which baggage rules apply.

Alaska Airlines Cancellations & Refunds

Your choices vary depending on your fare basis, cancellation time, and whether the airline alters or cancels your flight. Read the terms of your ticket before canceling. When you make a reservation through an agency, sometimes that agency is responsible for making any modifications. Rebooking or refund entitlement is based on your fare terms and regulations. In case of cancellation or major alterations made by the airline to your flight, reach out to the airline or your ticket provider to inquire about a rebooking or refund.
